Use to
2-methoxy-1-propanol acetate and propylene glycolmonomethyl ether acetate have similar properties, so it can be used to reduce the viscosity of the system. The acetyl group can eliminate the active hydrogenin the hydroxyl group in alcohol ethers, so it can be used as solvents forpolyurethane and other proton-sensitive systems.
